Mori Eskandani is an Iranian-American television producer, entrepreneur, and poker player. Born in Tehran, Iran in 1971, he moved to the United States in 1979 with his family. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Eskandani is the founder of Poker Productions, a company that produces poker television shows, including Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker. He is also the executive producer of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) broadcasts, which air on ESPN and CBS Sports.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Eskandani is an accomplished poker player. He has cashed in several World Series of Poker events and has won multiple titles on the World Poker Tour.
Eskandani is known for his innovative approach to poker broadcasting, utilizing advanced technology such as the hole card camera to bring viewers closer to the action. He has received several awards for his contributions to the poker industry, including induction into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2018.
